A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Brian currently works as a Manager and Principal Engineer at EMC Corporation and holds 6 US Patents. While at WPI, he was a member of the WPI Wireless Association. Brian is currently a member of the Worcester Emergency Communications Team and the Quaboag Valley Amateur Radio Club. He is also active in ARES, RACES, and Skywarn. Brian's interests in amateur radio include circuit design and building, circuit modeling, VHF/UHF/Microwave building and operating, chasing DX, Contesting, and EmComm. He's been designing, building, and repairing gear and test equipment since the early 1990's and is always looking to expand his collection of parts and equipment. Born and raised in Worcester, Brian and his wife Tracy (N1ITZ) live in the town of Leicester with their daughter. Technical Coordinator Appointment Description The ARRL Technical Coordinator (TC) is a section-level official appointed by the Section Manager to coordinate all technical activities within the section. The Technical Coordinator must be an ARRL Full member holding a Novice class (or higher) amateur license. The Technical Coordinator reports to the Section Manager and is expected to maintain contact with other section-level appointees as appropriate to insure a unified ARRL Field Organization within the section. The duties of the Technical Coordinator are as follows:
